Performance：
The relative density of FEP is 2.12-2.17, and its mechanical strength, chemical stability, electrical insulation, lubricity, wear resistance, non stickiness, aging resistance and other properties are very good, which is similar to polytetrafluoroethylene. But its heat resistance is slightly lower than that of polytetrafluoroethylene, long-term service temperature is - 85 ~ 200 ℃, embrittlement temperature is - 90 ℃, melting point is 263 ℃, thermal decomposition temperature is above 400 ℃. FEP is superior to polytetrafluoroethylene in low flexibility. Because of the low surface tension, it has good viscosity with metal in molten state. Resistant to general chemicals and solvents, not resistant to molten sodium hydroxide and alkali metals, can interact with fluorine and strong oxidants.

It can be used as high temperature resistant wire and cable for electronic and electrical industry, transmission line, installation line for high frequency electronic equipment, electronic computer wire insulation, aviation wire for national defense industry, oil mine detection and oil pump cable, fireproof wire and cable for metallurgy and construction.
